Help make great futures a reality for America's youth with Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River have served the youth of the Tri-State area since receiving our national charter in 1988.
We originally opened in Bullhead City, Arizona, as the Kiwanis Youth Center in 1987. The Laughlin, Nevada branch opened in the mid-1990s and is housed inside the Spirit Mountain Activity Center. Our Bullhead City branch still features a Game Room, Activity Room, Tech Center, Education Center, Arts & Crafts classroom, an instructional galley kitchen and an on-site greenhouse.
In 2013, our Club was one of 14 in the country to receive the prestigious National Maytag Dependability Award. The Bullhead City branch is also compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act and has undergone two grant funded renovations in 2011 and 2012 totaling over $160,000. Meanwhile, our Club also features the area’s largest and longest running youth basketball program, where we have emphasized good sportsmanship and fundamentals to kids ages 5-12 for over 27 years.
They now offer a location in Fort Mohave. There are three thrift store locations that offer great merchandise, including clothes, furniture, collectibles, housewares, books and more! 100% of proceeds support youth development programs for local kids including sports, art, STEM and mentorship.
